Scholarships were presented to three very deserving students; Hunter Gray from Shirley High School, son Jeffery and Debbie Gray; Garrett Collums from Southside Bee Branch High School, son of Sam Collums and Kristen Hensley, and Cameron Elaine Beem from Clinton High School, daughter of Richard and Beverly Beem.

Gladys Maxwell - Business of the Year

Business of the Year

This year’s award went to Family Hair & Boutique owner, Gladys Maxwell. She is a long time Chamber member and has not only maintained her shop downtown, but also expanded her business by creating a boutique. Family Hair has always been supportive of Chamber and community activities. Next time you are downtown, stop in and congratulate Gladys & the staff.

Volunteer of the Year

2014 VFD AwardThe Volunteer Award was presented to the Clinton Volunteer Fire Department. A few of their activities include “Scare on The Square,” Angel Tree fundraising & shopping, Toys for Tots and fire safety training at the schools. Plus, they are a great bunch of guys!
