November 22nd – Drawing for a Handmade Queen Sized Quilt There’s still time to get a ticket for a chance to win a handmade queen sized quilt! $1 gets you one ticket ($5 gets you 6 tickets) for chances to win. The drawing for the quilt will be November the 22nd, if the weather co-operates. All proceeds benefit the Angel Tree Program. November 21st – Dedication & Ribbon Cutting for Linn Creek Road & Bridge at noon, for more information contact Pam Bradford at the County Judge’s office 501-745-2443.

November 22th – The Revitalization Color Run begins at 10 AM on the Courthouse square. The event is an EAST Lab community project to benefit the We Love VBC Revitalization Program. The registration fee is $26 and there’s still time to register at the Dirty Farmers Market or Pistole Gun & Pawn, or call Jackie 501-253-4716, Gayla 501-253-1799 for details or a weather related contingency plan.

November 22nd – Dallas Holm Concert at Clinton High School Auditorium, beginning at 3 PM. Mr. Holm, a singer-songwriter of Christian music, is a Dove Award winner, Grammy nominee, Hall of Fame inductee and who is best known for his inspirational song “Rise Again.” The concert is sponsored by Clinton United Methodist Church admission is FREE (a love offering will be taken), for more information contact 501-745-5181

November 22nd – Christmas Tree Lighting in City Park; Free refreshments, lights, music, hay rides and Santa! Bring the family and enjoy the evening.

November 28 -29 – Faye’s Diamond Mine Special “Black Friday Treasure Chest” Event. Everyone’s invited to stop by and try a key to open a treasure chest, with a chance to win a prize! Making a purchase gets you a second chance. Among the prizes will be a beautiful “Shimmering Diamond” Necklace. Faye’s is located next to Cash Saver’s Grocery. November 29th – Annual Toy, Food Run and Christmas Parade An unwrapped toy & food item to join in the parade. After the toy run, Santa will be on hand to give out the toys. Meet at noon in the Backyard Antiques parking lot, kickstands up at 1 PM. For details contact Happy Jack 501-884-6396.

December 1st – The Dove House Wreath Auction at the Clinton Senior Center beginning at 6:00 pm. Tickets are $10.00, which includes a meal and entry for a door prize. It is going to be a lot of FUN! Wreaths are being made by local merchants and residents….something for everyone. Proceeds benefit The Dove House.

December 3 – 6 – The Live Nativity Program with two live performances each night at 6 PM & 7 PM at the Van Buren County Fairgrounds. The program is outdoors, so dress accordingly. For information call Corrine 501-253-1190

December 6th – Annual Christmas Pageant at the Van Buren County Fairgrounds at 4 PM, to register for the pageant call Corrine at 501-253-1190.

December 7th – Christmas in Clinton, A Community Wide Christmas Open House. The local merchants of Clinton invite the community and surrounding areas to celebrate and shop local for “Christmas in Clinton 2014.” Local participating businesses will be open for a Christmas Open House Sunday, December 7th from 1 to 5 PM offering special discounts, refreshments & sales.
