November 29th – Annual Toy, Food Run and Christmas Parade An unwrapped toy & food item to join in the parade. After the toy run, Santa will be on hand to give out the toys. Meet at noon in the Backyard Antiques parking lot, kickstands up at 1 PM. For details contact Happy Jack 501-884-6396.

December 1st – The Dove House Wreath Auction at the Clinton Senior Center beginning at 6:00 pm. Tickets are $10.00, which includes a meal and entry for a door prize. It is going to be a lot of FUN! Wreaths are being made by local merchants and residents….something for everyone. Proceeds benefit The Dove House.

December 2nd – T.H.U.G.S. are sponsoring a Half-Court Contest in the gym at the Clinton High school during the Clinton home basketball game. Chances to enter the contest are only $1 for a chance to shoot a basketball from the ½ court line. Proceeds benefit the “Teens Having United Goals” program.

December 3-6th – The Live Nativity Program with two live performances each night at 6 PM & 7 PM at the Van Buren County Fairgrounds. The program is outdoors, so dress accordingly. For information call Corrine 501-253-1190

December 6th – Annual Christmas Pageant at the Van Buren County Fairgrounds at 4 PM, to register for the pageant call Corrine at 501-253-1190.

December 7th – Christmas in Clinton, A Community Wide Christmas Open House The local merchants of Clinton invite the community and surrounding areas to celebrate and shop local for “Christmas in Clinton 2014.” Local participating businesses will be open for a Christmas Open House Sunday, December 7th from 1 to 5 PM offering special discounts, refreshments & sales.

December 9th – The Dirty Farmers Community Market is hosting a book signing from 11:00 am- 2:00 pm, for local Author Jimmy L Cossey II. He has two books available. A Children’s book, “Jumper’s Journey” and “The Eye Opener, My Journey While Battling Depression”. There will be a free children’s drawing for a stuffed Frog for each book purchased. December 10th – Coffee with French Hill, our Congressman-elect, wants to meet with people in the Clinton Area on December the 10th at 11 AM – at the Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce office at 290 Main Street. The Dirty Farmers Market and Cafe is extending their hours. Beginning December 1st the market and cafe will be open on Mondays! Market hours are Monday – Friday 10 – 4, Saturday 9 – 3 and the Cafe, Monday – Saturday 11-2
