A big THANK YOU to all the businesses & organizers who participated in the first Christmas in Clinton. I know everyone is looking forward to this event next year!

December 1 – 14th Make the holidays a little happier for everyone. All branches of the Faulkner-Van Buren County Library System are accepting donations of canned and nonperishable food items during the first 2 weeks of December (December 1-14). Bring your donation along with overdue items to any of the libraries and fines will be forgiven.

December 9th – The Dirty Farmers Community Market is hosting a book signing from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm, for local Author Jimmy L Cossey II. Call Jackie Sikes, 501-253-4716 for more information.

December 10th – Coffee with French Hill, our Congressman-elect, wants to meet with people in the Clinton Area on December the 10th at 11 AM – at the Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce office at 290 Main Street. This will be very informal – his way of saying thank you to the Arkansas Chamber members for their support. Please RSVP by emailing cltchamber@artelco.com, or call 501-745-6500.

December 10th – Free Children’s Christmas Craft workshop at 5 PM at the Dirty Farmers Community Market. After the children are finished adults are welcome to learn to make ice candles. Both events are free and open to the public. Call Jackie, 501-253-4716 for more information.

December 11th – City Council Meeting at the Clinton Airport off Hwy 16 East, beginning at 7 PM. For details contact Dena at 745-8110.

VBC Library’s Story Time on Saturdays from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. Bring the kiddos by the library for a great reading adventure. The library will be closed Dec 24th, Dec 25th and January 1st.
