April 25th – Arkansas Prescription Drug Take Back from 10 AM to 2 PM. Bring your expired or unneeded medications to one of the many collection sites across the state. For a collection site near you, visit www.artakeback.org Goode’s Cash Saver grocery will be hosting a collection site and the TEA Coalition will be serving hot dogs & giving out prescription medication lock boxes.

April 28th – Little Red River Audubon Society featuring speaker Carolyn Goettsch talking about her trip to Cartagena, Columbia. The meeting is open to everyone. “Dutch treat dinner” at 5pm, the program starts at 6 PM at Western Sizzlin’ in Clinton. May 2nd – Boston Mountain Color Run/Walk Activities begin at 9 AM, race begins at 9:30 at the Clinton Boston Mountain Rural Health Center, 465 Medical Center Parkway. Activities include bounce house, obstacle course, free health screenings, education booths, color powder, free lunch & much more. 5-2-1-0 5K T-Shirts presented to 5K participants while supplies last. Pre-register at www.bmrhc.net or pick up a form at the Clinton clinic.

May 5th – 10th Anniversary Celebration for the Methodist Thrift Shop beginning at 11 AM to 1 PM, located at 270 Griggs Street in Clinton. May 8th – American Cancer Relay for Life A community event where people come together to support, remember, inspire & celebrate life.
