August 13th – Ribbon Cutting for new Chamber Member American Home Pharmacy located in the CashSaver Grocery store in Clinton. The event will be held at 10 AM, stop by & say hi.

August 14th – Clinton City Council Meeting begins at 7 PM and will be held at the Clinton Airport Community Room. The City Council meetings are open to the public.

August 15th – Free Movie Night & Fire Safety Program at the Clinton Fire Department continues this Friday night with the showing of “Freebirds”. Bring your lawn chairs & blankets & enjoy a movie night out with the whole family.

August 16th – South Fork Nature Center’s FREE monthly guided tour will be led by docent Krissi Graham, beginning at 9 AM. She will be out in the woods at South Fork leading a group around in the forest. Trees are everywhere: pines, cedars, oaks, hickories, maples… just what is a tree…and why all the different kinds? August 23rd – 29th Annual Chuckwagon Races begin – Should be an exciting event and will bring many, many visitors to Clinton, let’s give everyone our best Clinton hospitality ever! August 23rd – The Guinness Potluck is almost here! Gather your friends and family and make history! Intake will begin at the Clinton High School Auditorium beginning at 10:30 am. Entertainment will be provided by “Crossroads”, a country, rock and blues band until time to eat. The first annual SurvivorFest will begin immediately following the potluck at the Clinton City Park.
