October 22nd – Clinton Gymnastics Academy Ribbon Cutting, at 4:30 PM located at 1720 Hwy 65 S in Clinton next to the Verizon Wireless Store.

October 23rd – Ribbon Cutting for Gray.C Photography & Style Child Studio, will take place at 10 AM the studio is located at 314 Hwy 65-B, Clinton (Formerly Johnny’s Office Supplies).

October 25th – The Scotland Community Corporation hosts a free chili potluck, campfire to roast marshmallows & a hayride beginning at 7 PM at the Scotland Cafeteria. Bring your favorite chili and/or desert and join the fun. Call James Burns at 501-592-3935 for details.

October 25, 30 & 31st – The Annual United Way/Van Buren County Fair Haunted House will start on Saturday the 25th at the Van Buren County Fairgrounds from 6-9 PM. The Van Buren County Rescue Squad will also have their annual Haunted Hayride on October 24, 25, 30 & 31st from Dusk till 10 PM also at the Fairgrounds.

October 27th – SunSations Tanning Salon, located at 296 Ingram Street in Clinton, will be hosting a free doTerra essential oils class on Monday at 6pm. They encourage everyone to come learn about how these oils can change your life. For more information contact Christy Bagley 501-745-8267

October 30th – The Dirty Farmers Community Market will once again be sponsoring a free children’s event. They are hosting a PUMPKIN CARVING CONTEST for children from grades K thru grade 12, with prize going to the winner of the contest. October 31st – 2nd Annual Scare on the Square
. The Clinton Volunteer Fire Department will once again set up the haunted house. They encourage businesses all over Clinton to get involved. How? Set up a table on the square and help us give out candy and goodies to the children, keeping all of them safe while they have a blast. If your business can’t come to the square, then just drop off candy at the Chamber and we’ll hand it out for you. Costumes are not required but sure a lot more fun, so pick out your favorite character and come join the fun. The fun continues on November 1st – Saturday with games for the children and one more night for the haunted house. Everything begins at 5:30 PM.

November 4th – Election Night on the Square The polls close at 7 PM for this important election, especially for our county. To help make this night a little more exciting, we invite you to join us downtown on the square to get live results announced by Sid King. The Rotary Club & the Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce will be on hand serving up free hot chocolate, coffee & cookies to help keep you warm. Yes, you could get the results sitting at home, but you would miss out on the hot chocolate!
