Chamber Newsletter / Previous page

A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this year’s “Scare On The Square” & Haunted House a successful community event, especially the Clinton Volunteer Fire Department! There were an estimated 2,500 Ninja Turtles, cowboys and a wide assortment of ghosts & goblins up & down Main Street receiving goodies. I couldn’t even guess how that translates into pounds of candy given out, except I do know that the Chamber gave out over 60 pounds of candy, thanks to the generosity of many.

Scare on the Square Clinton 2014

The VBC Special School provided a haunted house on the Square, plus there was a Haunted House & hay rides by the VBC Rescue Squad at the VBC Fairgrounds; CashSaver Grocery also hosted a safe and fun trick-or-treating night at their Annual Harvest Carnival for Kids, with games, hot dogs & candy. It was also an opportunity to donate to the Choctaw Food Bank & Food for Life Programs. A very big night in Clinton!
