A SUMMER CONCERT

Sunday, August 29th 2010 at 3:00 PM, at the Clinton High School Auditorium.
Join us for a great afternoon of music.

* 2 gallons of chili (Meat can be prepared prior to event)
* A source of heat to cook chili, there is limited amount of electricity.
* Cooking and serving utensils (including spoons and bowls)
* Napkins
* Canopy for outside cooking
* Table and decorations (Decorating your booth does not increase your
chances of winning the Chili cookoff, there will be a separate contest
for this, which is optional.)
Set up time for contestants is 11:00 am
* The contestants will be judged and award offered for top 3.
* There will be a People's Choice award again this year.
Entry Fee to have a team is $200.00, and a team consists of up to 3 people. Each additional team member will be charged for a $5 armband.
No Outside Food or Drinks! Drinks will be sold on site.
Contestants may bring drinks for themselves.
Judging for the Chili and Booth Decorations will be at 2:00pm. Gates will open to the public at 2:30 pm.
During the Chili Cookoff we will also be having a Jalapeno Eating contest. There is no entry fee for this, but contestants must be at least 18 years of age and will be asked to sign a medical release form.
Whoever eats the most Jalapeno's in 3 minutes (without throwing up or quitting) WINS!

Entry Fee to have a booth at the craft fair is $15 for Chamber members and $25 for non members. The Craft Fair is from 9am til 6pm. For an application or more information, please call the Kathy at the Chamber 745-6500.
Chili Cookoff Application
The National Championship Chuckwagon Races are held Friday through Sunday every Labor Day Weekend at the Of Ranch in Clinton, Arkansas. An estimated one hundred fifty teams compete in five different divisions for the title of National Champion.
An estimated 20,000 plus people will be on hand to watch the excitement of chuckwagon racing, bronc fanning and the Snowy River Race - a thrilling horse race that includes two downhill runs and a plunge into the river and then the fun begins as they head towards the finsh line.
In addition to the three performances, bands perform after the races and dances are held Friday and Saturday nights. Vendors of western collectibles, crafts, art, saddles and tack are set up throughout the weekend at the Western Trade Show. Four Ozark Mountain trail rides, beginning on Tuesday, are also included as part of the weekend's festivities.The National Championship winners in each division take home silver belt buckles and share in over $20,000 in prizes that includes saddles, jackets and "Chuckwagon Bucks"- prize money that can be spent at the Trade Show after the races.
