Plus, local rivers, streams, and forests provide secluded outdoor recreation and fun. Popular events, such as the Clinton Rotary’s “Bull Riding Spectacular” and the world-famous National Championship Chuckwagon Races held every Labor Day, draw over 20,000 visitors to our area every year.

Of course, Clinton is more than just a beautiful community with wonderful scenery and unbeatable outdoor recreation. It is also a city preparing for the future. As Highway 65 continues to grow, so does Clinton, and action is being taken to ensure our community maintains its heritage, character, and quality of living with projects like a new state-of-the-art hospital, downtown redevelopment, historic preservation projects, public art and city park improvements.

Meanwhile, local manufacturers are reinvesting in their plants, unique retail businesses continue to grow in number, and new developments in beautiful areas provide wonderful living opportunities. Clinton is an ACE (“Arkansas Community of Excellence”). New sidewalks, public art, festivals, and business incentives are all part of the Main Street Clinton Program’s efforts to keep our quaint town center thriving. A new downtown revitalization movement has brought festivals such as the Archey Fork Summer Festival and the “Old Tyme” Festival to the heart of Clinton.
