The May 13th Pie Auction Fundraiser was a huge success. The generosity of Van Buren County residents and how they can come together for a common cause continues to amaze me. People were seated at every one of those long tables in the high school cafeteria, and had donated 56 baked items for auction. Auctioneer DL Webb kept the evening fun and exciting and everyone enjoyed great finger foods provided by Tammy Gunn Catering while getting to hear from several candidates. The funds raised have given a great start towards creating the Adrianne Wilbers Small Business Grant. President Jason Hayes announced that Lacey Standridge has been appointed as a new Board member, Welcome aboard Lacey!
