Thank you to everyone who has responded to the “T’was the Lights Before Christmas” program so far. The lights are going up thanks to the generosity of many. We would also like to have music and refreshments every Friday and Saturday up to Christmas. So, please check out the attached “T’was The Lights Before Christmas” participants form and let the Chamber know how you or your organization wants to get involved.

Saturday, November 23rd: Thanksgiving Parade starting at 2 P.M. in the Thriftway parking lot, there will be horses, motorcycles, 4-wheelers, cars and floats.

Tuesday, November 26th at 6 PM. The Little Red River Audubon Society monthly meeting will feature speaker Carolyn Goettsch sharing her field trip experience with Heifer International. Friday, November 29th: Registration begins for the Holiday Decorating contest. The contest is open to business & organizations in the Clinton area, please see the attachment for details on how to register.

Saturday, November 30th: 10th Annual VBC Toy, Food Run and Christmas Parade. An unwrapped gift and a non-perishable food item is all that’s needed to participate in the ride. Everyone is to meet at Backyard Antiques at noon. All children under 12 will receive a gift at the Kiddy Park after the ride. Food and drinks will be provided. Saturday, November 30th beginning at 5 PM, “T’was the Lights Before Christmas” kicks off with lighting of the 40 foot Christmas tree and the whole park. There’s still time for your organization to get involved, please see the attachments for details or contact the Chamber at 745-6500.

Tuesday, December 3rd: Clinton Chamber General Meeting with speaker Dr. Donald Warren. The meeting will be held at the Clinton Airport and the meal will be catered by Tammy Gunn. Please RSVP to the Chamber by Friday, November 29th.
