2013 Clinton Chamber Chili CookoffGet ready for the 6th Annual “Chili King” Cook-off!

The Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce would like to invite you to join the fun. Gates open at 5:30pm. There will be a street dance after judging, with music by Slingin’ Gravel, crafts, games, and more. “All you can eat” chili for $5! Children ages 6-12 $3, children 5 & under are free.


2011 Chili CookoffApplication deadline is September 21, 2013. Setup for participants is from 1:30-5pm. Judging is at 5:15pm. There will be Top 3 chosen plus a People’s Choice.

Individual team: $100.00

Non-profit group: $100.00

Business team: $200.00 (A business team may promote their business by using signs, banners, and handing out promotional items)

Each team (individual or business) may consist of up to 3 people. Each additional team member will be charged for a $5 armband.

Craft Booth and/or Baked Goods Booth – 12×12 Booth for handmade goods for sale. $10 (members) or $15 (non-members). Setup for booths is from 1pm – 5pm. Bring your own table, chairs, etc.

If you cannot attend but would like to participate, please consider making a donation!

Rules & Regulations

No Outside Food or Drinks! Drinks will be sold on site. Only contestants may bring drinks for themselves.

The Chamber will provide bowl, spoon, and armband.

The contestant will need to provide:

– 3 gallons of chili–at least (Meat can be prepared prior to event)
– A source of heat to cook chili, there is limited amount of electricity.
– Cooking and serving utensils (including spoons and bowls)
– Napkins
– Canopy for outside cooking
– Table and decorations (Decorating your booth does not increase your chances of winning the Chili cookoff – there will be a separate contest for this, which is optional)
